CPS Hardware/Software Acquisition Process

A major focus of the Cincinnati Public School District is to integrate technology and electronic resources as tools for teachers, administrators and students into the instructional and management processes in order for the district to evolve into a linked educational community.

To assist in recognizing this goal an Application for Technology Initiatives (ATI) has been developed for acquiring hardware/software to assure maximum efficiency and compatibility with state/district academic content standards and the existing technology infrastructure.

Following are links to the ATI form, the ITS Hardware Standards and the Approved Software List:

NOTE: If the desired software is on the Approved Software list and the purchase price is less than $10K, it is not necessary to complete the ATI. If the desired hardware meets ITS Hardware Standards and is less than $20K, it is not necessary to complete the ATI.
